I recently used up my remaining EZ Gluten test strips. One of the beers I decided to run a test on was Tsingtao. Brewed in China, it has an abv of 4.7%. I have seen another online blog showing it being negative and wanted to add to the available data with my own test. I did take a look at the test strip on the other blog and I believe the user misread the strip and it’s a false negative.¹

My test strip came back indicating gluten levels >10ppm.

This beer should be avoided if you are on a gluten free diet.
