Updated October 2022 by Dante Moroni.
After running several tests on other imported Mexican beers, like Corona Extra2 and Modelo3, I’ve decided to try a couple of the lower calorie/carbohydrate options. Let’s see how Corona Light and Corona Premier do on the EZ Gluten at home test kit. Corona Light comes in at 99 calories, 4.8g carbs, 0.8g protein, and 4.0% abv. While Corona Premier does slightly better with 90 calories, 2.6g carbs, 0.7g protein, and the same 4.0% abv.
Quite surprisingly, Corona Light was negative, <10ppm gluten, while Corona Premier was positive, >10ppm gluten (June 2022). Update (September 2022): I tested another batch of Corona Light and Premier in October 2022 and that time the result was positive for both.
Bottom Line: Both Corona Premier and Corona Light have gluten levels that are likely >0 ppm.
June 2022 Results (Negative <10ppm / Positive 20-30ppm)

October 2022 Light and Premier Results, both positive. (30-60ppm)
